My assumption is that children may not necessarily believe that change involves either wind farms OR putting them in places of natural beauty.
I have a wee lady in my house who, when shown the initial photos at the SSE Exhibition taken from Machrihanish and Westport thought they looked "horrifical". I have quized her today about what she has learned at school. She has learned about Renewable Energy but she has also lived in Machrihanish for nearly all of her life and appreciates the wide open spaces and the fact that she can pull on her wetsuit and head to the "wee beach" with her boogie board whenever she wants. She wants to do something in the marine biology world when she grows up so her major worries lie with the effect this may have on the marine life and the dolphins she loves to see here every year. She is also very concerned for the gannets and the geese.
She is a confident and opinionated individual so I can assure you Bill these words are her own.
