Any news/details on what bands are on where and when in the pubs and hotels?

Also - am I right thinking that there is no Burnside Bash at all this year?

Only ones I have heard of so far are at Whisky Macs - http://www.whiskymacs.com/Whisky_Macs/MOKFEST_2011.html

Yes, Craig mentioned a while ago that there would be no Burnside Bash this year. There was a requirement for road closures and it required three of them at £500 a pop. :!: So he couldn't take the risk with this as an additional outlay. I must admit the return of the Burnside Bash last year was the highlight of the festival for me - its good to be able to enjoy something with the family and the Sunday was really good. Shame, but just the usual red tape nonsense....

Thanks for that SCD. Anyone with any more info?

What a shame about the Burnside Bash, I really enjoy it too and wish that all of the pubs in the quare would put their hand in their tills to cover the road closure cots. Guess most of them think why should we, when we are busy anyhow?! :( I think that most folk who go there would be willing to pay a couple of quid towards the cost - but would be a nightmare to monitor and many would argue that it's public space etc.

Confirmation of music in The White Hart Hotel and Whisky Macs as below. Quite sure the Burnside has Johnny Hill on Friday night and live music on Saturday and Sunday but will confirm asap. Anyone know of others?
