Help with In the Footsteps of Columba event in Southend

Postby IainJ » Thu Jun 13, 2013 10:09 pm

Hi Everyone

As you may know there is an event in Southend on Saturday 15th to celebrate Columba arriving in Argyll 1450 years ago. There is another thread which gives you more details about event at viewtopic.php?f=58&t=15797

The event is being run by Argyll & Bute Council, The Southend Community Council, J.I.G Events and the Kintyre Cultural Forum and we are starting to get a bit stretched with all the activities that are happening over the day. If anyone would like to help out marshalling the even, helping direct cars or sell tickets / passports for us your help would be really appreciated.

If you are interested please email me at jigevents@hotmail.co.uk and I will get back to you on this. Hopefully the weather will hold out as we have loads of things happening in the Playing Field and at various sites around Southend.

If you can't help out please come along anyway to enjoy the day.

Iain
