Just a wee note:

The local health service staff have set up an appeal for the two men's families.

The Royal Bank of Scotland is the collection point and the appeal will run until the end of April.

Collection

Postby Admin3 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 1:29 pm

I was asked last night to increase the profile on this. The Royal Bank of Scotland is still collecting money for this and it would be good if the people of Kintyre showed the two families how much we care. Both men who died had very young children.

Bob Middleton has done alot of work organising raffles etc

and Agnes willl hold one of her dances soon with the money going to this.

Please show we care!

I think the dance is on Saturday 21st May in the Masonic. Isobel Dalzel and Elizabeth McCrimmon are also holding a Prize Bingo in aid of the fund. Any prizes would be gratefully received.

I notice from the Lorne and Lowland website (under pew news) that 808.74 was collected - well done.

The prize bingo is being held this Monday evening (can't remember where)
