New films

Postby dgraves » Mon Jun 20, 2005 2:21 pm

I've seen them all, Davie- You're into a real treat with Batman Begins. By far my favorite!! Makes you want to see the other Batman films again, eventhough they probably weren't as good.

Not even Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Batman? That was by far one of the funniest performances I have ever seen in a film. He is just brilliant.

I meant I have seen all of the above films recently (exept Chocolate Factory) Stone Cold. I loved all the old Batman shows- just haven't seen them in a while, and Batman Begins was that great!! Not to give anything away, but the last scene brings Nicholson's part of the Joker to vivid memory :D

I've been to see the first four (so far) and have to say I've enjoyed them all in different ways

The Interpreter - The least impressive of them, but fine acting from a great cast
Kingdom Of Heaven - A bit ponderdous in places but plenty of fighting to keep it entertaining, even though Orlando Bloom CAN'T act
Revenge Of The Sith - Third time pays for all! This film more than makes up for The Phantom Menace & Attack of The Clones - still not a patch on the originals though
The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy - Absolutely hilarious, I didn't think it work but it does. Sod all like the book but who cares

The diasppointing thing is that the Picture House is almost always empty every time. Too many pirate copies floating about in the town
