Swamp Soccer had its first event in the UK in July in Dunoon. It started years ago in Finland - I think invented by cross country ski-ers in the summer season, helps with the thigh muscles apparently (?) - and now has quite a following in Iceland, Russia, Brazil, Sweeden and others. The bloke in Finland had contacts with a bloke in Dunoon and took it from there. Think this year was a huge success bringing people from far and wide for the tournament. Old clothes and a sense of humour are vital! Check out
