Watching whales.....

Postby chris t » Sun Jul 17, 2005 3:04 am

Great to see the Minke whale in Carradale...the hump backs are migrating along the eastern coast of Australia at this time of year...on their way to Hervey Bay in Queesland...I'm off to the beach this afternoon to see if I can spot any going by...although if the Japanese have their way, we'll see declining populations of them this side of the world.

Thanks for the photos - and your right - the carradale Goat is an interesting web site to visit..

Cheers, Chris T (Oz)

Hi Davie,
Maybe one of the regulars on the forum can tell us if Nessie was on holiday at Machrihanish ?
I took this pic on the 10th July at Machrihanish !!

The bigger pic can be seen on the website.
I took it from the car park and NO I had not just stumbled out of the Beachcomber :)
