South Kintyre Art Show

The Art Show is on all week in the Town Hall, between 10.00am and 5.00pm and is well worth a visit. There are 132 exhibits this year, with many local artists and some from outwith the area.

Lots of local views and a very interesting entry from one of our regulars on the forum! No, not bubbly.

Please make an effort to drop in and have a look. Entry is free but there is a silver collection to help with expenses.

Ronald Togneri, a distinguished local artist, is the head of the South Kintyre Art Group. Most of the paintings are for sale and prices range from 20 pounds to 695 pounds.

I'm sorry I will miss that this year, any chance of anyone nipping in and taking a few photos of some of the exhibits and putting them up on the forum, would be most grateful.
