Agricultural Society's 150th anniversary show this Friday

Just to highliight this on this Friday (the June show in August!). If anyone has any details can they please post them?

At this year's show as it is the Agricultural Society's 150th anniversary a special Tug o' war contest is being held.

Teams of 8, entry fee £8 per team and the prize money £150 to the winning mens team and £150 to the winning ladies team and £50 to the runners up in both the ladies and the mens.

You must be 16 or over to take part.
Why not get your club, work, village or organisation to take part.

Kintyre Agricultural Society

138th Annual show

On Friday 5th August

At Anderston park Campbeltown

Gates open at 8am

Judging of Dairy and Beef cattle, Sheep, Clydesdales, Horses and ponies and dogs

Dog entries taken on the day of the show judging begins at 12.30pm

Old Tractors and Owl displays, Tug o’ war (entries still being taken), Sheep shearing, Helicopter trips and lots of trade stands and fun for all the family,

Admission Adults £4 Children £2 Family ticket £10
Free car parking

Tug O' War entries must be in by 12.15pm enter at the Secretary's tent.
The TOW starts at 1.30pm.

Dog show (open to everyone) at 12.30pm entries also taken at the Secretary's tent
