Thanks Jackie for posting this on the forum. Made me pop along while up that way on Saturday. Great afternoon in the sun and congratulations to you all. Hope you raised lots.

Enjoyed the afternoon with music, face paints, eats and drinks and best of all the treasure hunt for the kids which took us down by the River. Really lovely walk which takes your round the back of the Abbey.

Well done to all involved. 8) (Especially Alix for returning my hat and watch  )

thanks for posting the photos - great views - but not a ladybird in sight!!!

The Home-Start MAJIK Caledonian Challenge team had a great time at this lovely spot - thanks to Elilidh at the Watering Can for hosting the event and to all who helped out and took part - we raised £200

The Woodland Walk and the River walk at Glenbarr Abbey provided a great hiding place for the ladybirds and the ladybird hunt seemed to go down well.

The Challenge is next saturday - 54 miles of the West Highland way in 24 hours, equivalent of 2 marathons and 2 ascents of Ben Nevis!! If you would like to sponsor the team - who will be raising £3000 for Scottish Community Foundation - please visit www..caledonianchallenge.com and follow the links - our team name is Home-Start MAJIK and just to add it is not a relay - we will all be tackling the full 54 miles.

This time next week we will be chilling out after the finish and will post the photos :)

Just want to say Congrats to the Home Start Team - specially my mum! Think just slightly over the 24 hours but never the less completed the full thing!

And a last note - Happy 60th Birthday to my dad of Friday!! 8)

The cafe looks really nice.
Not been in yet though, heard it was very expensive?

No point in saying something like that until you've been?
