Scores on the doors after last night scores are as follows - full details can be seen at the attached link as well as copies available in the Commercial and the Burnside.

http://www.southkintyresportscouncil.co ... scores.pdf

It is far closer that may seem. Carolyn who is out in the lead (unfortunately for her) has Italy to win it. The top 5 all have different teams to win it and some of the ones below the top 5 have different finalists and semi finalists which could make it very interesting! Even at 21st I could come first as I have Germany to win it! But I need other results to go my way.

Would people rather know what others have or are you quite happy to see how it unfolds and I can post who has what after this weekend's results?

Scores at the end of play on Tuesday 29th June - following the last 16 games

I have corrected my mistake above - Andrew Renton is on 386 having 5 of the last 8 and not 4 as I originally counted.

Sorry about that folks - too much of a hurry as usual!

David, I'm happy for you to reveal what I have, but at 349 I'm probably too far back - not sure how the leaders feel.

Think I can get a further 60 points max and I'm sure if I get them the leader will get at least 40.
Should Scotland be an Independent country?

Yes, I believe Scotland is a country and should therefore govern itself.
No, Scotland is not a country it is simply part of the UK and should therefore be governed from London.

Brazil 1 v 2 Netherlands

Oh, that makes it even more interesting! :-)

Even back in 21st my dream lives on with my Germany vs Netherlands final :-) Probably just put the Bochan on it there!

To add a bit more spice here is what anyone above 350 has for the last 4, Finalists and winners

I have to pray that Paraquay beat Spain and Germany beat Argentina, then they along with Netherlands reach the final and the Germans win it and at that I will be winner but joint winner at that with Tommy Millar!

Going to be interesting. 8)

Sorry there hasn't been any update with this - I'll hopefully get this posted tomorrow as I want to double check the leaders scores too!

Apologies but I had a rather unexpected trip to Glasgow on Saturday evening and just back! Why do boys always want to climb fences when there is an open gate right in front of them! 8)

Well as with every other predictor it is going to the final game! 8)

If Spain win Tommy Millar wins and if Netherlands win Stuarts win with either then becoming the runner up. Did remind me that there probably should be perhaps 15 points for each of the teams who get to the final and 20 points for the eventual winners to make it that bit more interesting but either way the winner this year (and like prevoious years) will be decided by who wins the competition.

Good luck!

Just to make if official Derrick Lang is last. 8) Well done Derek - the next time I see you I'll get you a pint. :D Also nice to see David Wallace making the top 100. Always a nice claim to fame. :D :D

David, if Calum McLean had the four semi finalists correct then he must have got the both finalists right too?

Not if he chose the ones who lost in the semis  i.e. Uruguay and Germany for his finalists..

Ps. I had that same sort of brainfart moment earlier in the competition  (makes sense in your head..)
