Congratulations to Dario Franchitti Indycar champion 3 times in a row, 4 out of the last 5 years. Shame to lose a British driver on the same day though. Dan Wheldon lived not too far from us, and leaves a wife an two young children. Very sad indeed

Thank you for posting this Sweltered, a terrible accident, witnessed at the track by his Wife and family too?
I enjoy watching Indy, since the Mansel days, especially as the Uk is so lucky to be representented by such talented drivers as Dario is and Dan was.

A very sad reminder of the dangers of racing around the Ovals and, indeed, for all types of Motor Racing.
