Today sees the second round of the Kilbrannan Quaich between Carradale AFC and Northend Thistle AFC who are travelling across from the Isle of Arran.

Carradale beat the Arran team in the first round at Lochranza with 7 goals to 4. Northend Thistle will be keen to win today, and stay-in with a chance of taking the trophy home with them this year, not least because of all the media attention they've received of late.

Kick-off is 12:30pm at the Wellpark Field, Carradale, and hot snacks will be available from the pavillion.

Commiserations to Northend Thistle who've definitely upped their game since last time with some good runs and missed goals.

Carradale retain the Kilbrannan Quaich for another year.
