Thanks folks. I found The Brass Verdict in my book case so will start it and then go back to the beginning with Harry Bosch!

I`ve just started another Lee Child book, Bad Luck and Trouble, another in the Jack Reacher series, and almost certainly going to be as enjoyable as the rest.

I didn't achieve very much in the house this morning as I couldn't put down Simon Kernick's latest "the last 10 seconds" which I started yesterday and have finished. Another tale from DI Tina Boyd with a huge amount of casualties but another brilliant fast paced tale from Simon Kernick. There's a new Lee Child due out in March Numberplease!!

Yes Ags, I know, I loved Bad Luck and Trouble. Simon Kernick is another of my favourites, and I`m planning another re-stock of reading matter this week, so will look out for that one. At the moment I`m reading Whispers of the Dead, by Simon Beckett, and really enjoying it. It`s another in the David Hunter series, but in this he`s in America.

I can highly recommend Whispers of the Dead, it was very good. Now I`m reading another C.J.Sansom book in the Matthew Shadlak,e series, Sovereign. Trouble is, I`m reading them all out of order, first I read the 2nd, then the 4th, now the 3rd, and I`m still looking for the 1st one, Dissolution. I`ll give it till this coming weekend, if still out of luck I`ll order it from Amazon. I love these books.

Don't touch 'Nine Dragons' with a barge pole. A rare dud from this author.

Thanks for the advice WC1. i`m now reading Denial, by Peter James. A little different to other books of his that I`ve read, but it`s OK nevertheless.

I enjoyed "nine dragons" WC1 but then it was the first Michael Connelly I had read. "Brass Verdict" was really good. I am now going back to read some of the earlier tales and looking forward to the latest Lee Child which is out this week.

Definitely below the standard of what you expect from Connelly.

"Forty words for sorrow" by Giles Blunt is one of the best crime thrillers I have read for a while.Three teenagers murdered and another missing in the town of Algonquin Bay in Northern Canada.

Not been reading as much lately as I joined the gym two months ago,and go there on a daily basis.Gym/sauna/steam room and jacuzzi, not much chance for reading as the pages would get wet. 8)

I`m now reading another Lee Child, Tripwire, but I think it`s one of the earlier books, but it`ll probably be just as enjoyable as the others.

The latest Jack Reacher opus from Lee Child - 61 Hours - is excellent.
