Christmas TV

It was announced today that the Christmas TV viewing battle was won by Mrs Brown's Boys. :<>

It had some funny moments but most of it was same old, same old I thought. Is this what tops the ratings now? Oh what I'd give for something akin to The Two Ronnies or Eric and Ernie or Only Fools and Horses or The Royle Family or ...

I thought the entire Christmas TV schedule was pathetic. Same bumf we get the rest of the year.

The radio (Radio 2) was pretty dire as well, the high spot being Ed Stewart as usual.
I've just watched Still Open All Hours, oh dear, oh dear, and Doctor Who, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Ouch !
