Surveys on the forum

Postby Kevin Mc » Thu Aug 09, 2012 10:48 am

Are these kosha or leftovers from the hack? I was presented with a very short survey with Apple prizes at the end.

Also, can't remember seeing the ad link things before now. For example "short survey" above gives one of them.

If this is just to help with the cost of the forum, then no problem. :D

Never seen that before.I suggest you delete.I have reported several "newest members"over time. When you go on to their profile there is probably a link underlined in blue to promote a weird web site or similar.I am not assuming the title of Forum Police but the earlier these individuals are aborted then all the better.

I got the survey when I tried to go to the unread posts - I didn't click a link within a message..

:D Try easing the pain by scanning your computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. That should find any rogue spyware and adware that's hiding on your computer. You may need to run the scan in safe mode.
