I assumed it was the morning as the Sun would be rising? :shock:

I would have said it was morning too JD, and the red sky warning is correct.
However, there is another version:

Red sky in the morning, sailors warning.
Red sky at night, sheperds house on fire :D

With regards to the colour differential, I also have photos of morning skies which are different from those in the photo and also yours too. Just two weeks ago I got some pics in the morning of sea and sky and the whole lot were a beauitful golden hue!!

I have seen a similar photo by the same guy as posted the one this week, and it's different also

Do you think he is a member of a camera club or something and is using filters and computer enhancement techniques :shock:

Or am I reading more into your finishing line than you meant :?:

I thought Ninja had some sort of program that detects photo enhancement (?)
