Right come on, which one of ye rotten divils wis it?

Poor Gary was outbid by some beggar at the last minute and the village was denied a priceless heirloom. Might I suggest a damned conspiracy?

I thought that it might be Sanyanya, but I doubt that he has a Paypal account. Morenish maybe, but no, he's too cute for that. A fermer wouldn't pay for the postage, even for the craic, when he knows that if you go down to the quay, they have any amount of that particular cerd through the back.

Hurricane Jeck perhaps? He seems to have access to the internet through the back of the granny and grandpa farm. Tickety Boo's a possibility as well, he seems to be an ex-pat, desperate to post a picture of some sort on the log. (Hopefully not to rub Gary's nose in it, and no, I'm not talking Sally's Walk).

Bubbly, what aboot you?

This item wasn't like one of the boxes of vintage 'Valentine' postcards safely filed in amongst the nuts and bolts in the back shop Do you remember the old boxed sets? Some of them may still be available. Ask one of the brothers for details, but choose carefully......

This was a card with an impressive pedigree, that had been half way round the world and was almost ready to return to its source. Jeest like a salmon grilse running back to the brown water of the 'Burn' (Is it only broon below Dippen?), and damn me just as it reached Springwell, someone shot a splash net roond it and lobbed in a handful of boulders.

So come on Snoddy, own up!!!

postcards

Bochan Mor

It wasn't me that bought the card.

In keeping with the theme of showing off the latest sprog to arrive in the area I have my walls plastered with photo's of eggs hatching and chicks on the podiums from the last poultry show Not to mention all the rosettes yours truly has picked up over the years. No room for photos of boats.

Try big Alex I heard he was looking for a photo of a clean fishing boat to show the Lithuanians to what his would look like if it ever reached dry dock.

Was there a ferry on it. Maybe wee russ bought it because cardboard floats. Sure it does?

The idea that I would be remotely interested in a shop-soiled postcard of a one-horse, no-through road, settlement is more than absolutely preposterous, even ridiculous.

Bochan Mor should forensically examine his own analogy involving 'splash nets' and focus on members of a more primitive profession, and I am not referring to gatherers of berries, or harvesters of terra firma!

What about 'big Alex' that Bobby Bock makes reference too?

Two spoonfulls of Halibut-Liver Oil, Morning & Evening. You know the surgery hours, so don't bother me at any other time. I most certainly don't get paid enough.

'Enough' of yer nonsense bubbly you old rascal.

The Lithuanian's have played a dirty trick on the big fella. They've given the green algae, the gas bottles, nets and fenders a lick of paint in his absence. He's still wondering where the good ship 'SL' has gone

I see you have your own show now on the 'Fowl Channel'. I wondered what you'd been up to lately, but the pre-launch publicity has given us an insight into what to expect in the Christmas edition. Is that Snoddy that you've trussed up, or is it thon dripping tap from the Largie? He seems to have gone to ground!

It is firefox and before I put in the stuffing I had to remove Malky, Davy and Gary I was wondering why they were so quiet on the technical issue The drip might still be in there. Who knows.

Now that is real surrealism. Garry Larson at his best. John Semple is right This is where I belong

I am having problems with my B.O. causing a surge in the V.D which in turn is affecting the output in my E.R.S.E. Can you help or should I see Snoddy?? Should I be on the technical site with this :(

Sounds like you've got a bad case of Irritable Vowel Syndrome too.

Don't you just hate all these TLAs?

Mr Jock, or can I call you bubbly?

Technically speaking, you have at least two issues which I believe you must address as a matter of urgency.

First of all, I suggest that you tackle the root cause of the V.D. before you go any further. I realise that it is rather a personal question, but were you visiting any websites or chat rooms of a dubious nature around the time of the infection? As in medicine, we would need to establish the bacteria or virus that is responsible, before we can predict the most effective remedy.

The E.R.S.E. problem can have similar roots, in that some delinquent students in the good old USA (More than likely in Colorado), could have bombarded your mailbox with spyware ridden spam, which in layman's terms, means that your PC has probably ingested large amounts of bug infested chopped ham and pork. Again in the words of one system analyst that used to frequent our residence in the village: 'Mince in, Mince out!'. Anyway, a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and he has exchanged his PC keyboard for one that is slightly more melodic, and I reiterate: 'Slightly!

I think that you will find that the B.O. issue will abate in proportion to the reduced frequency of hits on those spicy websites.

If all of the above fails, and you are still having problems with your system, I would suggest that you Uninstall and reload with 'Firefox'.

If you require any further information, I am more than willing to help

Here bubbly, did you use some of that fancy new medicated gel that they have up the hospital after stuffing that dirty fire fox. You cannae be too careful these days, especially with all those super bugs going around.

I blame the doctors maself, going about with those festering ties round their necks, tampering with god knows what on god knows who. I reckon that Snoddy is way off the mark with his diagnosis. I have a much more credible explanation, and it involves that wee trip that you had to Ireland. Check out below. Its quite self explanatory. Even if you don't follow the initial instructions, the next time you copy a wee CD, the files will be corrupted or at least soiled anyway!

Aye Gary ma soul, I have to agree with you there, 100% no less. Some people have far, far too much time on their hands, but far, far, far be it for me to say it.

I would suggest however, that it would also be a little bit on the rich side coming from the man with the highest number of postings next to those that are actually administrating the site.

Even 4th Gen Southen, the busiest man in Scotland and a champion fencer to boot, canna hold a candle to Gary when it comes to the posting. Maybe 4th Gen will gie ye a job knocking in a few posts doon in Soothen. Ye can pick a few stones out his fields as well, as they're apparently appearing faster than he can loose them. That'll stand you in good stead for the job or is it jobbies in Sallys Walk.

I'm assuming you once played a bit of golf in yer time, as ye certainly knew how to tee yersel up there ............Is yer middle name Neilly by any chance?

I enjoyed her accent which I thought was hardly any different from mine or C/Toon....... her pronouncemet of "lambs" could have been anywhere South of Tarbert but nowhere else in Scotland :D

Roll up...Roll up!

bubbly jock is looking for victims sorry volunteers for his new TV show: 'Ready Steady Chook'.

The Heidless Horseman: ideal, coming oven ready.

4th Gen Soothen: might be a possibility, as it would be the ultimate revenge for the turkeys. They could lock him up in a coop for a day or two before bubbly puts a match to the barbecue.

The Scouder could be drafted in for bubbly's Japanese night, where the contestants have to decide whether or not the venom ridden soup is safe to swallow or not (You know how they love to gamble!).

Sanyanya: well there's naw a picking on him, but I suppose he would do for the stock pot.

Snoddy: Not sure, I think that you'd need an awful lot of sugar in the recipe before he became pallatable, besides he's probably full of antibiotics.

Morenish: Fill a few plates here right enough

Enough: I think after Morenish, we've had enough
