This is looking worrying bubbly, one minute they're leaving for good, and next they're marching doon Nicholson's Brae and making for Tormhor as hard as their legs will carry them. If the bad apples get too abusive, you'll jeest need to phone the site polis and greet a bit. You'll be fine, we'll all send you PMs offering you comfort and support.

You could threaten to fly the coop for good, or to stick your heid in a festive gas oven, and we could all talk you out of it. If you go down this path, make it look more convincing than some, and refrain from posting for at least half an hour!

It's patently obvious that you and all your 'supporters' are one and the same guy.

I'll leave you to your own little world pal. You deserve yourself

The Scythe!

come forward, and get it off your chest man. (Or it seems maybe WOman) Eh?

NO, I don't think that it can be W.Oman. My grandfather used to take the scythe to the long grass behind his summer house near the bowling green for a couple of ounces of Old-Bogey-Roll, but he died many decades ago. As far as I know, the Summer House is still in existence and even used on occasions. Due to the fact that the door was locked, I climbed in a window about 3 years ago and dossed down for the night. At least they have replaced the old lino and improved somewhat on the wee coal stove.

Beware of the wild turkeys though, as they are even harder to catch than pheasants; especially in a group situation. If you do manage to round them up, proceed with caution, as they can be as vicious as geese and swans if provoked. The fearsome brutes once ganged up on & killed my best albino ferret, and I'm quite sure that they wouldn't even think twice about tackling a brace of wheasles!

Och you're there Bochan mor

I heard there was a dummy lying on the shore at Morcambe and you were away tae see who's name was on it. Wile carry on Imagine being able tae spit that far.

The thing that worries me is that eleven folk on here know how tae PM. I only ever get a couple at a time even at the worst venting of venom. I don't think I could cope wae all those expressions oh sympathy at the wan time

Aye technology is wonderful right enough.

That's the point Neil. There IS no apprecition society. It's all the same guy. (And 'guy' in my local parlance could be either male or female  )

Either way, I'm done with him (them??) If he(they??) have any substance they would pm me for a private discussion.

Instead, no doubt, we'll get yet another exercise in poor linguistic comedy.

Why do you keep provoking, chris? You have removed all your posts that would show how this started, but as you recall, you asked about the best directions to get there and you were given very civil friendly responses. Your response to them for their advice was to lay off the way they were talking, that it was getting old. I'm beginning to wonder why you keep poking with the stick.

Tú te estás levantando y yo me voy a acostar. En unas horas, entonces.

( Sigas siendo siempre el pavo salvaje- no dejes que te enfade)

Surgery Hours

Dear Mr A,

Can I cut to the chase, and ask you exactly how long you have been feeling so isolated? Having had the dubious pleasure of residing amongst these people and being a target of 'mirth' for a greater proportion of my life than I care to admit to, I can state with a fair amount of certainty that you are dealing with many more than one person here.

In one respect though, as with all isolated communities ('Podunk' : Dorian), in the words of the late kipper merchant from the Shore Road: 'They're hellish Clanish!'

This I'm afraid is something that you, or anyone else for that matter is unlikely to remedy.

I found when consulting for certain members of the community, not all it has to be said, that I had to practice relaxation techniques to quell my ire. Deep breathing was helpful in conjunction with moderate exercise (Not golf on the local course, as this potentially brings you back into contact with the problem).

At one time, I thought that Gin or Glenmorangie was the answer, but Lady Snoddy pointed out that if anything, it amplified the irritation, especially when they banged on the door of our residence at 1.30 am with a bleeding nose or a broken leg.

ChrisA wrote:Either way, I'm done with him (them??) If he(they??) have any substance they would pm me for a private discussion.

It's unlikely that they will enter into private discussions via PMs, as they have responded to my past PMs saying that they have elected to post on a public forum and if I wanted to wash dirty linen, it would have to be in public!
Dr Snod Esq.

Two spoonfulls of Halibut-Liver Oil, Morning & Evening. You know the surgery hours, so don't bother me at any other time. I most certainly don't get paid enough.

Any resemblance to Snoddy's past and present are purely coincidental!

Turkey Shoot

Postby Sanyanya » Sun Dec 11, 2005 2:11 pm

No, without doubt there is more than one of these 'Cheeky Monkeys'.

I found a good way to relieve the stress of continual ridicule from the bochan and turkey was to visit this site and let them have it!
