Sorry to burst your bubble Iain but I think you'll find, if you look into his interviews etc. he has never considered himself to be Belgian. His English mother was living there with his Australian father as he was based there with his cycling and he moved back to Britain when he was 2. It's a bit like a Kintyre family going to work for 2 years abroad, having a baby then moving back home. I doubt they would deny they were Scottish. But I'm waiting for you to find a Belgian link to Springsteen or Dylan :lol:
