My Land Rover returned 42 mpg.Hardly a gas guzzler.The original comment was attributed,allegedly,to Frankie Boyle,who I believe is from north of the border.I think that it could well have originated from the legendary Chic Murray as it is his style of drollness.
Isa,Shouldn`t you be out patrolling the borders looking for Aliens or something?

Rog, hope its as good for you when you arrive.Temp taken at 2pm yesterday,but by 4pm a friend looked at it and the reading was 34 deg.As reported by "drollyin" going to be just as hot today.
