Check the Campbeltown webcams out:-

The following webcam is the www.visitkintyre.info one which for some reason I can't host on my site (still looking at this) . However, Gary Sutherland kindly agreed to host this as a test and here is the result:-

Also got an e-mail from the Council to say their webcam is also up as of today at the following link.

Hi Davie,

Good to see it's up and running. Might be an idea to change the filename though.

We'll need to work out why you can't host it on your site. Can't be much. Maybe next time I'm in town we can sort it out.

Good to see the weather's treating you as well down there as it is up here.

David, I look at your webcam and the one on the quay. The one on the quay never looks any different so today I got my dad and brother to stand there just to prove that it does snap away once every 15 minutes - and it does!

Yes - I notice the Council one takes an image every 15 minutes but at 6.45pm it stops and stores the same image overnight until it starts operating at 7am in the morning again.

I have been tempted to ask anyone on the board if they are interested in meeting just before the last image capture at 6.45pm and getting us all to bare our arses for the overnight image! :lol:

Anyone up for it? Need to be a widescreen lense - isn't that right Bubbly??

On another note I have moved the webcam to show Dalintober pier and the Aqualibrium in the distance. (Gary I'll give you a call about this tomorrow)

Hey, Davie- I've never been able to get the Council webcam to come on. You say you get pictures every 15 min?

Mumphysmum is up for anything her pal got into local paper for streaking at MK game. She can,t go back on her word.
