I'll just ignore the first part of your posting Bochan Mor! although, of course I know fishermen deserve every single bit of praise and credit going too..........they are not appreciated or respected either. I have always thought Fermers and Fishermen were part of the same industry.

But I am very very VERY disappointed to say that I wont be able to play in the game against the 'Dale................

Have to attend a wedding in Balnakill that day................

Maybe we can get a return match on a proper sized pitch in Southend!!

 Do the photos have to be local views or anywhere and any subject so long as they are well composed? Think an annual comp. is a great idea.

Isn't it nice to see those poor fermers getting a wee break.

He'll have plenty to read on here when he comes back unless he is in one of yon cyber cafe's reading this from frogland.

Nice to see you've been concerned about my absence Bubbly  Back from France and frozen - that's me

We went to visit my wife's sister in the village of Chatelin the French Alps. Fantastic place, right on the Swiss border. Good food, wine and scenery. Bastille Day (well the evening) was a blast :P :P

4th gen, all the cattle have bells on - the first thing I noticed this morning when I woke was the silence  (and the cold  )

By the way, I'm not really a poor farmer nowadays - my IT work for Argyll College takes up a fairly large part of my week (my diversification 8) ). Also, it's nice to have a wife that has a good job

Edit: Went a bit off topic there (sorry Davie). If photos from outside Kintyre can be included in the competition, I've got a couple that I might submit of France.

I've just been round to the 'Big Pussy Cat's Door', but have been reliably informed that unfortunately he's playing in Whitby this weekend.

However, I spoke to him, and he says that 4th Gen has obviously copped out, but will get his chance another time. He said that I should remind 4th Division that although the cat no longer has all his hair, he still has all his well honed fangs, so harrower beware!

P.S. Don't forget to take your shin pads to the wedding, and don't take as much stuff as Morenish obviously did, as you'll definitely need to rise in the morning!

I think that you would be cramping our style somewhat to restrict it to Kintyre, but at the end of the day, your in charge, and the editor's decision is final.

Cheers Doc,

I'm not in charge, so please treat me like the rest. (well I am but I don't want to be in charge!)

Photos so far have all been Kintyre based themes so I don't think it would make sense to say the visitkintyre.info site Photo of the Year winner was a photo of somewhere in China! :?

Anyway, open to thoughts, afterall this is just an idea.

On the topic. How about any photos of views or wildlife. After all it is supposed to promote Kintyre.

Just one rule. Nae weans or sports. Don't really like either of them.

Forgot to say to take snoddy with you. He's a bit tired and can be excused for being in the wrong thread.

All these hoors he works and for only 80 thousand a year. Damn disgrace He should getting double that especially for working in the dale.

A psychatrist wouldn't go amiss up here but he would need to be on secondment or after any length of time he would be as daft as the rest of us

Ate it

Postby Bochan Mor » Sun Jul 17, 2005 12:47 pm

OK, so bochans are fond of the odd bit of flesh. The moose would hardly have fed a moose, but one of the young bochans had it in his play piece. I had to cut the horns off this felllow and wipe its erse before Mrs Bochan threw it in the oven.

Bochan Mor

I'm disappointed that you use the oven. The heathens roon here just wipe it's erse and put it on the plate. Rare and strong. Saves on electricity you see.
