Can anyone shed some light on what they are building in the middle of the roundabout at the Balloch turn-off? :?

I'd be grateful if someone could put me out of my misery :roll: :? :wink:

I think it is something to do with an advert for Loch Lomond shores and the end result is supposed to imitate waves . Of course I could be wrong but that was the latest I heard

I heard the big pole things were to support sculptures of swans in flight. Worth the disruption, eh?! Not to mention the cost.
