Whats on etc

As many of you know there is a Whats On forum on the board. However, I don't feel this is being utilised to its full potential.

Initially, and before the forum, I had a "Whats On" on the Website but I found it difficult to keep up to date and cover all the events on the area. Hence one of the reasons with the forum. I thought by adding a Whats On people could post their own news and promote their own events.

Do you think it would be better to have a Whats On thread on the general discussion which people could add their information to and I could copy on to a master one or does anyone else have any thoughts in general?

Perhaps people don't realise that they can post their event in the What's On forum. They may be thinking that you will be updating it.

Change the forum description and add something like "Please feel free to post your event information in this forum." You know, something like that.
