Drove my Mum home to Southend on Saturday and it was, as usual, a beautiful drive. Have always looked for the seals at Ronanchan and this time there were none. However, when we visited the cemetery at Keil that evening there must have been at least 100 seals on the rocks there. The tide was out and had I had better footwear on I could have walked up to dozens of them. Over recent years there have always been one or two bobbing about in the water at the cemetery gates but I have never seen so many there. Long may they stay!
