You're absolutely right Westport. I've tried putting a few things on here on the last couple of weeks but to no avail. Not a sowel thinks anything is of interest at the moment. Let's hope that the abductees will soon be back!

I agree the forum is quiet. The Election-don't know if that's the cause. Anyway i was up in Kintyre the second school week and the weather was fantastic. Seven sunny days, calm seas and great walks. Freezing at night in a caravan though which brings a whole new meaning of togetherness!!

Played five games of golf at Dunaverty, Walked from Machrihanish to Westport on a stunning afternoon with my wife and dog. Climbed Ben Guilean (spl) and sort of got lost, but had a great time.

Sounds like the perfect holiday Bobh. I'm off this week and although the weather's not been as good that walk from Westport to Machrihanish is hard to beat. Let's hope, as regards to posts, it's not the calm before the storm!!

Aye i've moved to Dundee and jeest hooora busy at work and canna get on computer as much noo that the lighter nights are in.if i remember right we have got this every year at this time on the forum, think its just that folk are doing more with the longer nights.
