23. It is an act of treason to place a postage stamp bearing the British monarch upside down.

Whats the betting that Ionns puts all his stamps on upside down?

Aye Bill yer right enough, when I worked in local government, part of my duties was to send a weekly report to head office.
In my defence- I said that the stamps were the right way up - only the envelopes were up side down.

In Virginia it is illegal to sell cotton after sundown!

(It is also illegal to do a lot of other things after sundown too, but I will leave this up to your imagination.)

Just FYI, Virginia is in the middle of the Bible Belt. (Full of CBNers! Everywhere they ur!)

:o

There's always next time.
Some people die at 21 but aren't buried until they are 65.

I hope someone's going to warn Herne the Hunter... ;)

bobbie, please don't even think things like, let alone type them out, those days are long gone for me and i pray to all the gods (including herne the hunter !!!!) that it will remain that way.
I could, however, pretend to be pregnant if i ever see a policeman with one of those big helmets ( i dare you all to ignore the very obvious temptation to get rude and nasty with my last sentence), that would be quite something to tell the grandchildren x
