This steeple keeps cropping up in so many photos of Campbeltown I thought I would post a close up I zoomed in tonight! :-)

Bobbie, that is the roof of the actual church, it has an ornamental indented ceiling which has given cause for the design of the roof.

Petewick, I may be wrong, but I think she means the building up in the foothills off in the distance to the right....above the pic of the church. :D It does look interesting. I was wondering about that myself.

If you zoom in it looks like someone has started Campbeltown's own Mt Rushmore :) the rock on the right looks like a face !!! I wonder who it was going to be :)

If yi mean the wan that haes rud an grey hoops an goes intae a point, that the steeple o the Herry Tage Centre. Personally ahve nuvver seen a Tage Centre that was anythin other than Herry, but ahve naw been anywhere much. By the by, it used tae be a church tae. Wi jeest love closin doon thae places here, or it seems lake it ennyway.
If yi mean the green an broon coloured thing, thats Mrs Gullions wee boy Ben.

Okay Pop.. your mission, should you accept it. Go to yon haunted hill and take pics up close up :) or someone can. I bet you'd get a beautiful view of the town and the water from up there.

Well Tj ah dinna think ma auld legs cuid gan up thit hill fur tae get a photo or twa but, ah ken ah yunger laddie thit will dae it fur me, so if am naw beetin tae it, ah will get thum fur yeh ok.

Oh, crawling up there will do an auld man good! to breathe in the fresh air, get that old heart pumping! I would go up there myself if I were there. You know, I never realized there were so many trees back up there.
