I have started work on a Down Memory Lane feature for the site which I think will prove very popular (and give us all a good laugh).

It can be found at http://www.visitkintyre.info/dml

For now however, the only one which is working (and especially for you Bubbly) is sports and football.

I have lots of photos to add but if anyone can send any to me please do so.

Any thoughts anyone?

davie, can fill you in on some of the names i think. the first girl in the middle row is that not lillian sharp the boy you say is Duncan Brown is his surname not armour. the blode at the end is Fiona Brown. Fiona says that one of the boys in the front row was a RAF kid. not sure if mum still has any photos but i will ask.

Oops - you are right! Haven't seen Fiona in years tho I meet her Dad from time to time. And yes it was Armour too

Was a few RAF Kids in our class - I am sure one of the girls at the back is Lynn someone and Julia someone too - can you remember? Karen Anderson will know!

In addition I have added some new photos at

http://www.visitkintyre.info/dml/sport/volleyball/

http://www.visitkintyre.info/dml/sport/netball

http://www.visitkintyre.info/dml/sport/football

Got some more to add but don't know if I can be bothered now!

Anyway, enjoy. I may get killed with those Netball and Volleyball ones!

David

Aye Gary, the sewerage system was broken that day the top picture was taken.
Was up your neck of the woods yesterday, the Carra was in full tilt, also the sea was reminiscent of the Devil's Dance Floor in the Baltic.

Hi,

Yes it did look a bit wild. I wouldn't have fancied being out in that lot.
