Dear JogScotland members past and present ,
Please accept this warm invitation to join in our celebrations of the 10 year anniversary of the Campbeltown JogScotland group.
JogScotland, as a national initiative, was established by Scottish Athletics in 2002, and was supported by NHS Health Scotland, SportScotland and the Scottish Executive Dept, 3 national bodies working together to help many people in Scotland adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle through simple, gentle walk/jog/run programmes.
Campbeltown became part of the scheme in 2006, and to mark this milestone, we are planning to run between Campbeltown and Southend on the morning of Saturday June 11th 2016. In order to accommodate runners of all fitness levels, there will be 4 starting points offering runs of approximately 3 miles, 6 miles, 8 miles and 10 miles, with transport provided to the partway points.
Celebratory breakfast rolls and tea/coffee will be provided at the Muneroy Tea Room for all participants plus a piece of our commemorative cake.
We hope as many peopple as possible will join us to share their stories of achievements and favourite memories inspired by their participation in JogScotland over the past 10 years. it will be a memorable day out and we would like you to be part of it.
Please email Liz or Lizzie at elizabrich@yahoo.co.uk/ elizjgraham@btinternet.com for further information and to let us know if you can make it. Hope to see you there.
