With just three weeks to go to the Half Marathon and 10 k Run, South Kintyre Sports Council wish to bring to attention your chance to purchase tickets for the exciting after race Ceilidh party we are organising in conjunction with the MOKRUN Committee.

The event will be held in the town’s Victoria Hall and headlining is the hugely popular local group Wee Toon Tellers. In addition World and European Champions Kintyre Schools Pipe Band will be on display – not to be missed. Jamie G is on hand early doors too to keep the atmosphere going with some of his famous tunes! With doors opening at 8pm this will be a great night. (please note doors will close at 10pm)

All proceeds on the evening will go towards the Sports Council mini Bus Appeal with the Sports Council donating £1000 to the MOKRUN event to help cover their costs.

The ceilidh is on schedule to be a 400 ticket sell out and we would like to give you one final chance to purchase tickets before these are snapped up by the public. In order to secure your tickets please e-mail helenmackinlay@hotmail.com by Friday 11th May 2007. Tickets are priced £8 for runners and £10 for non runners and each runner is now entitled to 4 tickets each.

Runners who requested tickets and stay in Campbeltown and the surrounding area will receive their tickets in the next week or so. Those visiting Kintyre and have already requested tickets can pick their tickets up at the pasta party on the Saturday evening (if attending) or at the finishing line after the race where a Sports Council member will be on-hand to distribute tickets. You can also request a further two tickets if you wish but please remember to e-mail helenmackinlay@hotmail.com by Friday 11th May 2007 requesting these.

Cheques for tickets should be made out to South Kintyre Sports Council and sent to:

Clydesdale Bank, c/o MOKRUN
19, Longrow, Campbeltown
PA28 6ES

Like the whole weekend this finale is not to be missed!

It is important if you wish to attend to contact us as soon as possible with your request.

Bud - see above. We will know on Friday if there are any tickets left. Over 200 tickets have been sold already.

I'd suggest you find someone who is running and ask them to get you tickets.
