Ceilidh - with some couple of photos for now..

Hope you all enjoyed last night!

Managed to get out from behind the bar a couple of times to take photos and will post more later in the week (once recovered!!)

Fantastic night, everybody enjoyed themselves (especially hubby who cant seem to get out of bed this morning -maybe it was the running that did it and not the magners) Alot of hard work involved but it paid off.

In the picture above is somebody i went to school with and have not seen for over 20 years, he recognised me straight away but i never recognised him. Does anybody mind Tommy Angus that stayed in Limecraigs.

Great night! Managed to dance the night away-so legs weren't too bad. Good music,good company and good drink(what more can you ask for).
Pipe band was fantastic as usual.
Oh-Abbey,those wee tottie legs were def made for dancin!!

Near the end of the night I took this photo of a lovely young couple. When I showed it to them (I thought it was good) they both said the photo was out of focus. They even asked a friend and she said the same!

Anything to do with drink? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Great pic of this happy couple..... could not help laughing at the out of focus bit. I am afraid I was out of focus too. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Brilliant photos of the band Willie D ..you should take this up professionally.

Great night.....managed to dance the night away even with the sore ankle. Think the drink anaesthetized it !!

Really enjoyed the Celidh :D No sore muscles from the running, just a twisted ankle from the dancing! :roll: :( typical!

fantastic piccies willie, you really have a talent there.

the lighting was exceptional so was the atmosphere and the company was not to be beaten.

WOW - pans lass danced her wee heart out last night - shes just a wee star - pans people right enough 4th gen.

Glad you all seemed to enjoy Sunday night.

We will post up an official thank you in due course to thanks those who all helped out with the Ceilidh on Sunday but just wanted to thank the efforts of the Wee Toon Tellers, Kintyre Schools Pipe Band, Willie D and Jamie G.

The Wee Toon Tellers had the place jumping and the the Schools Pipe Band were just superb as usual! 8) Willie D and Jamie G - massive thanks to you both - an excellent job from start to finish and I don't think people appreciate the amount of work you have to do to set up the sound and the lights. Willie - the new lights are just awesome!

Thanks to everyone who came along and thanks to all those who helped whether it was in the bar, stewards, raffles, setting and clearing the hall it is all really appreciated.

And of course - THANKS to the MOKRUN committee - if it was not for you guys then there would be no race never mind a ceilidh! 8)

Right when is the next one - we have a mini bus to buy?! 8) :lol: :wink:

We are looking to put togther a small editorial for the Campbeltown Courier along with a couple of photos.

We are interested in adding a quote from a visitor to the town who went along to the Ceilidh and enjoyed the whole occasion. Any visitors go something we could use?

Looks like Big Chang but its not him and definitely not Gill Hall. :?: :?:
