We have some Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k 2007 Commemorative Ales left from the Ceilidh on Sunday night and rather than ship it all the way back Strathaven we hoped we could sell them!

We are not trying to make any money - purely to get them out of the way. So we are selling these special bottles at £1 per bottle - £12 a case. (it would be ideal if you bought 12!)

Specially bottled for MOKRun 2007 by Strathaven Ales. A distinctive session ale conceived by our head brewer Craig Buchanan. Amber in colour using a combination of Lager and Marris Otter malted barley flavoured with English and American hops. Moderate bitterness with a pleasant floral nose making an easy drinking ale

If you would like to buy a case please PM us or e-mail sksc@campbeltown.info

I'm from Strathaven. Haven't lived there for quite a few years. We all used to drink a mixture of diesel, bovril and castor oil. Had the same alcoholic effect with a guarenteed clean oot next morning. Had to stop drinking the stuff though since they banned red diesel, cant afford the price of derv. Bovril is £4.25 a big industrial size jar out the coop and since they put fixed feet on couches there is no need for castor oil anymore.

One question about the stuff wi' the hops an' floral nose - does it yet ye p!*%ed?
