Fiona - thought I'd stick this on a new thread. The distances are: -

500 Metre Swim
20 Km cycle
6.5 Km Run

looking hopeful for some interclub team entries from the mok end of the world tom :D jsc willing to organise runners for teams along with swim club and benguillion bikers???

Fiona, know of two swimmers who are keen to enter as part of team - this is definitely worth looking into. :D :D

You must have had your eyes on the finishing line Fiona, if you had seen my comedy cycling up the Main St on Sunday, you would not want me anywhere near a triathlon team!

Maybe next year with a bit of practise!

I done the running bit once in the Mid Argyll tri, and it couldn't have rained harder! :x I think I would have been drier doing the swimming. Our team came second and it was good fun. Quite interested in giving it another go.

But, I cycled home round the Leerside and after Gail's wine I was a wee bit unsteady on my wheels and took a bit of a tumble!

Just to let you know the MacQueen Bros Mid Argyll Triathlon web site in now live and you can download the entry form and race information from:

Great to see that you guys are up for entering this years event - you will see Tom has already got his entry in. We have a limit of 120 competitors and are invariable full a month before the race. So an early entry guarantees a place.
