HMS Campbeltowns farewell visit to her namesake before she is decommissioned next month.

Thanks to the cox of Campbeltown Lifeboat for the opportunity to get some photos of her arrival into Campbeltown Loch today.There is a list of events laid on throughout her stay with the parade later on today,see Nancies post.Some snaps taken from the lifeboat as we went out to meet the ship along with a small flotilla of local vessels.More info later.

And here is another mixture, some more of the ship arriving, some of the Lifeboat crew, Harbourmaster and boys, the groups, pipe band and ships crew preparing for the evening parade to the Town Hall.
Some of the parade pics were quickly snapped on my mobile so excuse the quality as i was taking part in the walk .
