Just our sun trobical climate Malky! although, this morning and all winter really, it is more like our MONSOON climate.

Aye Kathy, you would have plenty time to admire the full moon view, you on Shanks' Pony...hey, you should enter the 10k you did near 3/4s of it that night!

Hahahaha!
Just noticed this when searching for an old photo - quite correct though! I did actually do it last year, slightly quicker than that night and a damn sight warmer! Hope to do it again this summer - only on a shorter route with a less frosty reception

I was in the mill not so long a go, it's pretty much finnished. Rolly Mauchline and his lads (David and Vince) have made a fantastic job of the renovation. Barry Martin (the owner) made the right choice with Mr Mauchline as he rebuilt Saddle Castle and Tangy mill, he really knows his stuff.

Have a look inside the mill...http://www.littleholidayhouses.com/property?id=2329

I was wondering what is the situation with the Keil Hotel? It seems to be such a beautiful place to have for visitors? Will it ever be available again? The pictures of Southend are are simply beautiful.
