It's actually just hanging outside the living room window 4th gen, just the angle I took the photo at.

best pic is the one of you in this weeks courier, willie will be missed, i was on castlehill school board with him for eight years, it was good to find someone who appreciated my sense of humour, i think he forgave me for turning down his offer to take over the chair from him every year, he did such a grand job of it. all the best to him and the family.

Rhonadale Glen today.

The forestry road around Rhonadale Glen can give some lovely views on a day like today.Notice a lot of blow timber from the recent severe gales we had in this area.

Wow! These are just breathtaking, stunning photos. I was longing to be there, walking it all. I guess you know how lucky you are to be living there, I'm so, so envious. I'd give all four limbs to live there......well, maybe not my legs as I wouldn't be able to walk but you get my drift  Thank you so much for sharing them.

Photos taken yesterday from the B842 east coast single track road and as you can see this section is not on the gritting list.
Views taken just north of Carradale near Grogport looking over the Kilbrannan Sound to the snowcapped hills of Arran.

Beautiful photos JD, I`ve only ever been there in the summer, the winter gives it an entirely different kind of beauty.

I've been enjoying, yet again, your Carradale and East Kintyre Photos, JD.and some of the views are from sites I've never visited. The pictures confirm my view that Carradale and the area around, is the most senic part of Kintyre.

Smashing pics JD. Looks terrific. A different view to the one (weather wise) when myself and brother-in-laws sailed from Campbeltown to Lochranza in the hottest weekend of the year at the end of May.

Cheers all for your comments.

I'll try and get into posting more pics, but as you know I run the Carradale Goat site and that takes a wee bit oh my time.
