That's really strange LL because I had exactly the same idea - except I stuck an old envelope across the scene!!!!! So thanks for that! Seriously, it would make a grand picture if it was enlarged and put on to canvas. It's all the rage here - even Margate looks romantic when given the treatment. :!: It's a fantastic picture! (Is jfm a professional?)

I used my hand then I scrolled the screen up...finally decided it was worth doing up right!

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a bad pic posted in here or in the local websites so either the Kintyre's full of professional photogs or that corner of the world really is magical, making capturing it's beauty easy (which would also explain all the superb photos taken & posted by vacationers!)

Why cover up the jet trail. As you can see with this one, I deliberately left it in and named the pic accordingly.

Lossit Lass wrote:all gorgeous pix! & I must say jfm, there's something about this one of yours (other than it's near where I lived )...& the colors are really pretty, it almost looks like a painting. Anyway, I wanted to see it without the airplane trail :x so I copied & cropped it & it looks great!

Gorgeous pic, pete.

As for the first pic, it looks nice cropped, but I liked the jet stream in it. Seems to add to the story.

I agree. It's difficult to decide which Kintyre photo to use on my desktop when there are so many gorgeous shots.

Gorgeous! I do hope someone will set about developing a transporter in 2009 so that I can pop over. If not, I suppose I will have to get on one of those birds that leaves the trail in the sky.
