Microlight lands on Carradale Bay.

Postby jdcarra » Sun Jun 01, 2008 11:59 pm

Today there was a buzz around Carradale when this visiting microlight landed on the east side of the bay.By the time I got down to take the pics no one was about, possibly away up to one of the local hotels or bars for a snack.

there were two people on board and my boys were down the bay when it landed and they sauntered over and said to the microlighters "nice flying car" (which is probably hilarious when you are 11) the folk were really nice and passed the boys when they were getting on their bikes to head home and the flyers said "nice bikes" (which is probably really funny when you fly a microlight)
so all in all, the kids thought the microlight was cool and the people were cool and they waved like mad when it flew over the houses on its way up the coast.

I think there is a clue in the 1st pic. as to the possibility of a forum member being the pilot/owner of micro-light. 8)

Anyone else spot the clue ? ? ?

...looks in nice condition too. I did go and have a look at one up close at our local airfield, but decided it had too much of a 'home-maintained' look to give it a go! This one looks cracking though - and what a great trip to make on a sunny Sunday morning.
