Sanda and Sheep island from Northern Ireland

Taken last week from above Torr Head , Co.Antrim. It was freezing i can tell you. Was hard to stand upright the wind was so strong.

Great photo! I'm sure Photoshop could pull off some of that haze, too.

At risk of getting all anoraky, what camera/lens were you using?

Thanx. If I give it too much of the photoshop treatment the colour goes very strange but I must check into it further. I was using a Sony alpha-100 DSLR with full 300mm zoom on a sony lens. i took a lot of photos that day because the visibility wasnt 2 bad. I have some of the Paps and the american monument on Islay and also one of Gigha from the same place. Few months ago I went to Rathlin Island for the first time and was astounded by the visibility that day. Some great shots of Islay and Kintrye. I think I even got one of Arran peering above Kintyre. I also have a great Rathlin-Kintyre Panorama http://www.flickr.com/photos/16132340@N07/2944741545/. You have to view it at original size which is very large but there some great detail on it. There should be a good few long range pics in my photostream if you have time to search.

Great pics Colin....I cant wait to get over to Ireland later in the year to see the view over to Kintyre.... :D
