Pupils host Dumbarton FPs pre-season compNOW WITH PHOTOS

This Saturday, 7th August 2010, Campbeltown Pupils will host Caledonian Amateur League side Dumbarton FPs. Starting at 12.30pm both clubs will field both their A and B sides with each match 20 minutes each way. Format of the matches is as follows:

Pupils v Dumbarton Academy Tournament

Dumbarton Academy from the Caledonian League will bring both its squads to play in a round robin event at Kintyre Park this Saturday. Campbeltown Pupils A and B squads will provide the opposition. League basis - twenty minutes each way.

Dumbarton Academy FP's first team came out top today in a closely found round robin competition at Kintyre Park, Campbeltown. An evenly competition throughout, saw the men from the Rock take home the cup after winning 2 matches and drawing 1. Both Campbeltown Pupils sides can be happy with their performances today with the "B" side stealing the limelight with a superb 3-1 against a more established and experienced "A" side. Results of the matches are as follows

Campbeltown Pupils A 3 v 1 Dumbarton Academy B
Gary Grumoli scoring twice and a penalty from Shaun Grumoli

Dumbarton Academy A 3 v 1 Pupils B
Superb strike from young Gregor McFadyen

Campbeltown Pupils A 1 v 3 Campbeltown Pupils B
Three super goals for the B team from Frazer McFadyen, Gregor McFadyen and Andrew Henderson with one from Gary Grumoli for the A team

Now, this season let's have the Pupils' line ups for each game on here and, if anyone from the Courier is reading, in the paper too.

Also, would love to see The Pupils back playing in the very imposing and intimidating all red strips....maybe some day!
