what about carradale and the pub teams eg kinloch
are they not joining or is that more town rumours?

There is to be a weekend league too this summer which will feature no amateurs and is hoping to consist of Carradale, a few pub teams, youth teams and a couple of teams from Tarbert and/or Lochgilphead.

The league started last year will also run again and play on Tuesday and Wednesdays again - probably starting mid or late May. So far 6 teams which would be fine - play each other twice will give everyone 10 games plus a cup.

Hopefully get something in the Courier next week to get in touch with Ranald about this - he meant to do it this week but obviously had something else on his mind!

AN Other - Stone Cold what is your team name?

League is due to start last week of May/first week in June. Games played on the Meadows.

We need to get a meeting to get this organised but on a serious note I am happy to raise the profile on here and play for the mighty Southend but I really don't want to get incolved in the running of this. Am up tae ma neck in things as it is!

Ranald said he would do the fixtures etc (basically the Match Secretary) so who else will help out?

Think there are 7 teams interested. Like last year we can play each other once and have a cup unless there is enough time to play each other twice.

Any others? Really need everyone to pull together for this league to run this year. Think we have two sponsors - one for the league and one for the cup so will definitely have cups this year!

Good suggestion - could then leave the Tues for cancellations
