In their centenary years 1919-2019 we plan to post updates on matches etc on this thread here. Please update and help us too!
Saturday 6th July 2019 - Campbeltown Pupils AFC vs Fort William (Highland League) - Kintyre Park
A good start to pre-season for the senior team with two excellent fixtures at the weekend. Friday night saw a match against Oban Saints end in a 1-1 draw at Lochgilphead. This was followed by the visit of Fort William to Kintyre Park on Saturday afternoon. It was a good match throughout and offered a fair amount of entertainment as both sides attempted to shake off the pre-season cobwebs. However, Fort William - with some excellent young players in their ranks - found the home side in good form, the Pupils winning a distinctly friendly meeting by 7 goals to 1. Thanks goes to all at the 'Fort'' for travelling the road and miles to the 'Wee Toon'. A return will arranged for next season and Campbeltown wishes the West Highlanders every success as they continue to rebuild for the future.
