was told to say about the ambulance taking so long to get up to the injured man at meadows tonight so:
the ambulance took ages to get upto the injured man at meadows tonight
(this is not a dig at the ambulance, it is just a statement
im sure there was a reason they took so long)

Unfortunately it looks as if Alan O'Brien suffered a broken leg in an accidental collision with the Hammer's keeper.
For the record, Southend were winning 4-1 at the time with only a few minutes to go. The match naturally was called to a halt by referee Jimmy McCallum.
Not sure of the other result but it was something like RNLI 11 Meadows 2

Things just get worse.....poor Alan.
Tonight's scoreline between The Hammers vs Southend will stand at 4-1 and the final game of the league is Meadows vs Southend next Wednesday evening on the Meadows and that will be the end of the KAFL for this year.
There won't be a cup this year either (unless teams still want to play and can arrange this??)
