The following glimpse of my family tree shows my links to Campbeltown.
My father John McIntyre Mees was born in 1921. His mother was Jeannie McLellan McIntyre born 1899. Her father was John McLean McIntyre born 1853 and her mother was Mary Mathieson born 1859. John McLean McIntyre's mother was Janet McLean born 1829. Janet McLean's Father was John McLean born 1808, her mother was Isabella McIntyre born 1800. Janet McLean married John McIntyre born 1826
I would be interested in any information regarding my McIntyre ancestors.
My dad's sister Sheila Mees born 1928 married Edward Brown McLellan born 1924 and their daughter still lives in Campbeltown. Edwards brother Hugh McQueenie McLellan was a professional boxer.
