Mystery location

Postby JOEMAC » Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:01 am

I recently acquired the marriage details for DONALD WALLACE & CATHERINE McGEACHY
6 July 1894 but the location was partly illegible it was Glen---kill which was also given for the home of the bride.
The marriage was registered in Campbeltown
Can anyone tell me what this place is.
Thank you in advance.

Glenramskill is on the southern shore of Campbeltown Loch, around a mile and
a half by road from the town.
It borders with the NATO fuel depot.
There's the main farm of Glenramskill and to the west and on higher ground is
High Glenramskill, a smaller steading. Really beautiful place, spent loads of time
down there with friends as boys, many summers ago....
