Cola more expensive than beer!

Just back from Gran Canaria where I was shocked at the price of draught Pepsi & Coke.

No.1 in the Cola rip off chart was the Aqualand park. They charged 6.5 Euros, or about £6 at the time, for 500ml OK you get it in a fancy plastic vase with a straw but …….. It’s only cola.

The dearest bar price was 4.5 Euros, or £4.16 at the time, at Meloneras.

Can anyone beat that?

Not coke or pepsi but we landed a bill of 25 EUROS for a large beer, a sangria (same size as the beer) and a lemon fanta in Barcelona in October!! I was seriously cross but have learned a lesson not to order without checking prices first!!!
