What are members thoughts on a new forum on here allowing members to share experiences on travel?

Just struck me last week that this could be very useful.

Just a thought....

Good Idea, little bits of info on places to stay and visit while in a particular country or city, could be very helpful

Aye, see we listen sometimes. I'll get the forum Travel set-up under General asap and see how it goes. Hopefully it will get some good topics. Could have done with some advice last week on what to do even although I was just in Scotland.

When I read the initial post I thought the content would be something along the lines of passing on info on geography and accomodation for example in "foreign" places that members hoped to visit.

Am I reading it wrong??

I am a bit confused with the post by a landrover

Your initial thought is correct - it's about everywhere. WTC mentioned it a few weeks ago as a possible good use of the forum and I thought the same after a wee break last week. Thread to follow.

Really good idea that to let folk know what others have experienced on their travels.

Can I ask if anyone knows of somewhere nice and warm in November? Doesn't have to be scorching Short haul if possible. Not a beach thanks (admin - have moved your question to its own thread at viewtopic.php?f=51&t=6946 )
