U.S. Visa Entry Charge

Postby TYM » Thu Sep 24, 2009 6:33 pm

The U.S. Senate last week passed "The Travel Promotion Act" which, when it becomes law, will mean that each visitor to the U.S.A. will have to pay $10 when completing their ESTA ( Electronic System for Travel Authorisation ). The ESTA was brought in at the beginning of this year to replace the old green in-flight entry system. However, both still seem to be currently required.

This is expected to come into force by next Summer although it could be in place as early as the new year.
